may your Christmas be merry and bright and may we remember what it’s all about. :)
See ya next year!

See ya next year!
and I’m still decorating here and there, I made paper snowflakes over the weekend and I love them. I hung them in front of my kitchen windows, but I think I might make more to stick on the walls. I wrapped tons of gifts yesterday and our tree looks ready for Christmas!
and I made some little yarn trees that I love. Here’s the tutorial if you’re interested.
Since we don't have a mantle, we hung our stockings by the tv, and I still haven’t embroidered Cody & Olive’s names on theirs. hopefully I’ll have enough time to do that! but not right now! I still need to make up our Christmas packages, so that’s what I’ll be doing all day today and I mean ALL day. I’m stuck in the kitchen, but that’s the way I like it. :)
Merry [almost] Christmas!
I am the biggest slacker as of late. Ok I’m not gonna lie, I pretty much have always been when it comes to starting projects and finishing within my own timeline. One of my bestest friends got married this summer in Vermont (as you probably already know from reading my previous posts) and I decided to make her a little scrapbook of some of her pictures, just to have as a memoir kinda deal. I got the idea after seeing Elise Blaha’s post where she used the Russell and Hazel mini binder and I loved it, so I wanted something similar. I started it almost right after we got back from VT, and planned on giving it to her within the next month…well 4 months later, I finally finished it.
WHO DOES THAT?? oh yea, me.
I gave it to her and her husband as a Christmas gift. It proved to be harder than it sounded in my head, but I was definitely happy with the outcome. Here are some pictures I took before I gave it to her. Her colors were orange, yellow, brown and creme. I started by cutting the pages to the appropriate size and sort of winged it from there…
All done! I was so relieved when she opened it and liked it. :)
other than that, I’ve been so stressed with school. It always seems like I have a love/hate relationship with the final week(s) before breaks. Christmas break, Spring break, Summer break. There’s always a finals week before that kills it for me. NEVERTHELESS I have a class tomorrow night and then I’m freeeeeeee. But for now, I need to get back to finishing some projects.
Only 8 days until Christmas!
getting caught up!
on my blogs
on my christmas to dos
on my housework
on my crafts
on my schoolwork
on organizing my thoughts for all of the above.
and I’m sending out some of my Christmas cards today! That being said, if you would like one, this is your chance! Just email me your address, jennifer12287@yahoo.com . I looked and looked through etsy and I could not find a Christmas card that I was in love with, so I just made them myself is PS this year…and it was cheaper in the long run anyways. but I love them, and I’ll share once they’ve all been sent out, as to not ruin the surprise. :]
I was going through the 400- some odd pictures on my phone and I realized that a majority of them are of my cat. obsessed? maybe just a little.
xo
I’ll totally admit that I’m a traditionalist when it comes to my christmas music. Change doesn’t go over well, so it’s pretty much the same from year to year with a few additions here and there. But for the most part I like for my music to remind me of my childhood and bring back nostalgic Christmas feelings! So yea, most of these are ones I listened to growing up or ones I’ve danced to over the years at Dance FX.

Our thanksgiving weekend was great and eventful, among those events was an engagement session we did with Joe & Jessi! They are getting married in May and are completely adorable together.
Here are a few from our session:
just a few ;)
It’s seriously been two weeks since I’ve blogged. Crazy? I think so. It’s just that time of year I guess! I apologize anyways. This weekend we’ve been enjoying watching Christmas movies and continuing our Christmas traditions. I love it. We went ice skating sunday after church and it was so fun! I didn’t fall, but I wasn’t very good, haha. Jake on the other hand, was great…and cute while doing it. :) I was proud! We will definitely be doing it again soon. In florida there aren’t many winter activities, so we take advantage. lol. Anyways, I’m so sad that Thanksgiving break is over…
Hopefully I’ll have an iphone pic post soon (my phone is filled with them!), and I’ll share some photos from our ice skating. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week! Tell me all about it!
does anyone else ever have those moments where things happen and you can’t figure out how they did or even why? Specifically talking computers here, I saved some pictures onto an external hard drive a few months ago. I’ve been working on them off and on, editing and saving them. I went on my computer last night to find and edit some more and only half of them are there?! I don’t get it. it makes absolutely no sense! Last time I checked, pictures don’t just disappear on their own. I’m praying that I just misplaced them and that they are on the hard drive somewhere. They are extremely important to me so pray with me that I find them on there somewhere, k?
Back to the good stuff. I’ve been taking lots of pictures with my phone lately, mainly because it’s so handy and always around (especially when we’re eating, ha). so here are a few randoms from this week:
building a fort (or a bunker as they called it) in the living room
I was achin’ for some turkey bacon! yup yup yup
and my poor husband has been sick for the last few days…
I guess his dinosaur blanket helps. :)
it’s 9:00 pm & I’m still in my pajamas from last night. I guess that’s acceptable for a Saturday, right? Right. I thought I’d post some pictures from last night. It was fun and interesting and I can’t wait until Eisley’s next tour! Let’s just say we learned our lesson and we will DEFINITELY be buying our tickets ahead of time…
therefore, I give you our night in pictures (minus some great coffee and conversation, of course)
:]
after the show we came home to a bonfire & our boys…and that’s enough for us!
…”Let the wild rumpus start!”…
I need some good Christmas covers, anyone have any suggestions on their favorite holiday tunes?!!
