JMP News & Updates!

 

 

First off, let me thank whoever reads this for doing so. Your comments make me so happy and I’m thankful to have some faithful followers. I’m writing this to share a little bit about what’s going on right now, and to update you on some VERY awesome things to come. I realize that this blog started off as a personal outlet and quickly changed into much more photography based but that’s ok and for now I might just have to mix up my posts.

Lately I’ve been busy with school, I will be graduating the Art institute of Tampa with my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Digital Photography this month (woot woot!! anyone else graduating soon, or graduated already?) It’s been a long 3 years at Ai and I’m so SO proud of what has come out of it! Jake and I have lots of big plans for our future and I’m starting to really see some of them unfold. It’s truly a blessing!  Anyways, I have my graduate portfolio show on the 16th (which I will be sharing pictures of, I’m sure) and then my actual graduation ceremony on the 17th. I cannot tell you how long I’ve looked forward to these days…it causes me to smile from ear to ear…if you could only see me typing this post. (:D).

I’ve been working a completely amazing and very talented design team on my business card revisions and my website which should be up very soon! I’ve also been working personally on the start to my packaging, which I think I’ve come up with a pretty neat system for:

 

We’ve decided that we want each package to be different but still cohesive, and each one is personally crafted…we are still tweaking details so I’m almost positive that there will be great changes as time goes on. What do you think?

 

I’ve also been making preparations for my graduate portfolio show, which every graduate from each major will have to participate in. Every has their own table that they will set up and as potential clients and other students/ viewers come by, we will be able to present our work/ final album (see below), business cards/ leave behinds etc. The work ahead of time, planning and prepping can get stressful…but it will be so exciting and worth it in the end.

I think that’s about it for now! I will update as needed, and will be posting some weddings and sessions (and a link as SOON as my website is up and running!) and news about our summer plans, so sneak back and leave some love.
