So obviously since the last post some things have changed in accordance with my moms “condition”.
Very positive changes.
This time last week I was grieving the potential loss of my mother.
This week I am rejoicing in the miracle that God has performed on her.
After being admitted into the hospital for pneumonia, then finding out it was NOT an pneumonia at all that it was serious heart complications, they told us that her arteries were VERY blocked and VERY small…much too small to operate on. They did not fail to mention that her heart was very weak and in terrible shape [a major portion of her heart looked to have been dead], that she may not be a candidate for surgery and that our only other reasonable option could be a transplant, which we would never be suitable for since she did not have health insurance and it’s an extremely expensive procedure (they also made sure that we were well aware of that, oh ye of little faith).
Yes, you could say I was grieving.
In 7 days (ironic, eh?) the Lord allowed her heart to strengthen and her spirits to lift. With each passing day after they had told us the devastating results, she continued to look better and better, and feel stronger and healthier. Friday they did an MRI and surgery was a GO! Today she is in recovery after a TRIPLE bypass and mitral valve repair.
God is good…and no one will ever convince me that it was anything less than God. I saw His power with my own eyes. He restored her, He is healing her and He is amazing. She will continue to be in recovery for a few more days, but I have no doubt that her recovery will be speedy and she will feel healthier than ever, praise God. God turned a terrible situation into a rewarding and humbling experience for my entire family and all of our friends who have been there in support and those who have taken the time to pray for her and us. Thanks again, from the very bottom of my heart!

I lost my mum to cancer almost 7 years ago and know how horrific it is to hear that they may not make it!
So glad your story has a happy ending - and God is GOOD throughout everything!
