Friday.

just a few images from a project I did for my Digital Darkroom 2 class. We had to use food and text in relation to a popular food cliche.

What do you think?

Jake just finished a few painting this week and I believe I heard him say that he wants me to share them on my blog so I'm sure you'll be seeing them too. :)

So how about I tell you about my day today, eh? So yesterday... I worked all day (and by "all day" I mean, from when I got home from Zumba at 10ish to like midnight) on a project due in today's class and was planning on printing them at Costco (they do 12x18 lightjet prints for $3, which is not too bad). I digress, I changed my mind this morning and decided just to buy semigloss photo paper (which was a way cheaper route) and print in the digital darkroom at my school and save the more expensive prints for an upcoming exhibition I'm in. So I did. I get to school this morning and start to print and they turned out so bad. The ink was blotchy and smudging in the corners, needless to say they were TERRIBLE. So a few of my classmates picked up extra paper since they were printing in the lab too, no big deal. THEN....dun dun dun... I see the color wheel of death on the computer, and it freezes! My disc (with all of my files on it) is stuck in the computer!! it took like 30 minutes to finally get it out, and I had to hurry up and print, luckily the prints turned out fine and I got a good critique, even though I was late to class. GUHH. luckily I have one more class and then I'm free for the weekend and I got to wear my rain boots today, yes!

I'll be back to update you on our trip. Procrastinator doesn't even begin to describe me these last few weeks...Hope everyone's friday is swell!
