killing time & mustaches.

Just a few pictures from this weekend, I hope everyone had a great resurrection day. We did!

My sweet husband. He is my oasis.
I got a new dress for easter and it was a total steal. It feels retro to me, and I love it so.

We snapped a fast family picture in the car, and I dig how it turned out. Perfect timing! (our dog, cody, has ADD)

And I finally finished and framed my mustaches and I LOVE them I hung them in our bedroom!

just a little note, I've grown to HATE the paint color in our room. It was supposed to be "cafe latte" which sounds like (& appeared to be)a subtle brownish color for the most part, right? but no, it turned out to be an awful purple-ish pinkish brown (as you can see) but we were just too lazy to paint over it. but now that we've done some serious spring cleaning around our house, we've decided that Cafe latte's time has come to an end. I want something soothing, yet cheery. Maybe yellow? i don't knoww.

EDIT: class was canceled today due to some plumbing problems in the building....sweet! AND AND AND I got a new nail polish, pop apricot by Rimmel. So springy and sweet, I adore it. Could this day get any better? WHY YES, I also found a slew of coupons for this week, and free food because it's tax day! wooo! Ahhhh

The rest of my beautiful day consists of:

coupon clipping/printing and decorating my envelope coupon book that I made this weekend.
Working on wedding contract & logos
painting the rest of my nails :)
updating and cleaning up my itunes
and maybe some slight cleaning and organizing around the house...who knows!
Oh! and drawing up the pattern for my newest embroidery project
Pictures to come!

pees owt,

time to catch up!

OK! So the last few weeks (and weeks to come) have been JAM PACKED with things that I could talk about, however since I don't have that kind of attention span, I'm just going to hit on the highlights...

Last weekend Jake and I went to the ONE marriage conference in Gainesville, Georgia at Free Chapel. Last summer we had the opportunity to go to their Forward 2008 Conference, which is geared mainly towards a younger group of people, which is where we had heard about ONE, and thought it would be fun. We learned so much about marriage, and about God; it was incredible and I can't wait to go back next year. we are already planning it! I definitely encourage any couples, married or not, to attend. It's "relationship" changing haha! and RANDY TRAVIS led their worship service the following sunday, which was fantastic, he is such a cute little fella!

AND!!! there was a snow storm going through Atlanta while we were there so we followed it to Athens where they got 6 INCHES of snow, more than I have ever seen in my life, growing up in Florida. It was CrAzY! We had snowball fights, everyone's cars were slipping and sliding all over the road, transformers were blowing, trees were falling down haha. ok I guess you had to be there, but I enjoyed every freezing minute of it.

[me loving the snow]

World Market, a new favorite store of mine! so much neat stuff & so fun.

The above pictures were edited using levels and Pioneer Woman's ACTION set. Fun to play around with, check em out!

Oh and THIS (below) happens to be my husband, wearing a TSHIRT in the snow, yea he's from Vermont...who does that?

oh, one more thing(s).I've been pretty busy with my classes, since we only have 3 weeks left in the quarter, but I have some fun shoots coming up soon. And I've been working on an embroidery stitching project that involves 'staches of many colors! just thrifting for some vintage frames to fit and I'll be set! and I'll will possibly have some very exciting news to share soon...but you'll just have to wait and see, won't you?

xo,
jenn!
