P is for PICNIC.

 

 

Jake and I went on a little picnic this week. We’ve been cooped up in the house for way to long and needed to get OUT. Seriously. My classes this quarter seemed to completely drain me of any energy to do anything but projects, and this week was my break. I start my new quarter, classes next week, but until then…you get a picnic! and if it ever stops raining, maybe a walk on the beach. :)

Monday was such a beautiful day. It’s really starting to feel (a little bit) like fall around here. I mean to Florida’s standards which isn’t much. We are having a cold front next week..high of 85! hurray! Either way, I’m so thankful that the weather is changing, even if it is just a few degrees or so. So we made some sandwiches, packed up cody and headed to the park …

 

  

 

 

 

 

AND because we don’t have KIDS to take pictures of next to what could possibly be an important monument that we might want to remember in the future?…we take pictures of our dog on top of it. :P

So I’m listening to the rain and getting ready to watch Teen Mom on Hulu.

AND AND AND Jake and I also discover Tiramisu ice cream this week, TIRAMISU ICE CREAM… and it’s “light” which gives us all the more excuse to eat more of it? WAIT, that' doesn’t sound right?!  Well, we eat more of it anyways because it’s delicious and we like to tell ourselves that it’s better for us. :)
