Jake's been painting quite a bit this week, which is awesome & I got a few small notebooks to decoupage, so I promise there will be a craft blog and desperately needed etsy update soon. pinky swear.


I got some new clothes for our trip to vermont next month (which I am beyond excited about bytheway). Jake is originally from Vermont, and in the almost 5 years we have been together I've never been. but yes, now I am almost prepared! all I need is some new jeans & a pair of cute brown sandals. I saw these today but they didn't have my size...I'm debating on purchasing them online...

neither are too terribly expensive, thank God. and I've been working on making my own camera strap cover. I debated on just purchasing one from Etsy, but i think im going to try and sew my own. If all else fails, etsy is always calling my name!

Speaking of expenses, has anyone ever used Quicken? Jake and I just started using it to organize all of our finances and I must say that I love it. It's so helpful, especially for the both of us who are terrible when it somes to keeping up with reciepts, etc.

this week has been SO nice. I'm going to be so sad once our little bit of "summer" is over and it's back to crunch time. We are looking forward to going kayaking tomorrow.
