shboom shboom.

I watched Little Miss Sunshine this afternoon for the second time, and apparently the first time we watched it we fell asleep towards the end and never thought to go back. But not this time and I thought I was going to pee my pants laughing. great flick. anyways.

I figured I'd share a SNIPPET of images, about the last week, or so. We've been to Orlando twice, played mini golf, babysat the dean bean and had great fun not doing anything at all. oh love. Our life's a dream, really. :)

So the friday after Christmas we decided to take a short yet very satisfying road trip to Orlando, mostly for IKEA, but also Urban Outfitters, because it was right next door. great convenience, eh?! We got some great stuff and had lotsa fun togetha! [per usual].

We also babysat Jackson deanie, our nephew. we played Mario Galaxy and made s'mores in the backyard, his first in fact. he was a fan, as most of us are. I could live off of them really, but that wouldn't be too wise for my hips now, would it.

WARNING: you may get sick of seeing fisheye pictures this post. Sorry, I couldn't resist!

We also played a bit of mini golf...

Then a few days later, we decided to go back to Orlando...just for ice cream. A trip to Friendly's for ice cream, in fact. and if you haven't had friendly's, you should feel deprived. nonetheless, we drove almost 2.5 hours for 30 minutes of bliss. It did give me a chance to start on my Listography journal, which jake and I have both relished in discussing, therefore the trip was well worth it. indeed.

And I also started a small project on a thrifted camera bag jake and I found at the flea market a while back (it's actually a camcorder bag, to be exact, but it justsohappens to store all of our lenses perfectly). It has been sitting in our craft room for a good month now, just begging for some attention...

It's not completely done yet, but I will post a picture of the finished product.
Scout's honor.

I have recently been informed that I don't post enough, so that's something I will have to work on in 2009!

God is amazing,
jenn
