"Don't think you have to change the way you live or talk or eat or the change things you like all you need to do is have faith."
sounds good right? but it's wrong. sorry if I step on any toes, but I don't want anyone to be misled to thinking that they can do whatever and still label themselves as Christians. no offense but that gives Christians a bad name.
When you accept Jesus, you [should] want to change. You become a different person. If your lifestyle consists of sin and craziness, it changes in order for God to truly work through you to lead others to Him. It's great to think that all you have to do is have faith, which is correct in some sense. However, don't expect someone to look at you and say "wow they're a great person of God and they really show God's love...I want that" if your too drunk or high to even realize that someone is watching you...but you have faith.
granted everyone makes mistakes, and you'll continue to make them for the rest of your lives and he'll forgive you but we are to stive to become what God wants us to be. He expects things of us...
God will love you no matter what. and He does. but Christians are to be a light and an example of Jesus Christ. just sayin...

I agree. When Jesus called His disciples to himself He called them to a radical lifestyle. We, like those early disciples, are called to that same standard. Thanks for the good reminder. Nice blog name, btw. :)
