Earlier in August, I went up to Vermont to visit/ bring back Jake (he was working up there for a few weeks). So we took advantage of the time and did some exploring! There were tons of pictures that we took, so I’m going to split them up into parts.
I got there late Saturday night/EARLY Sunday morning, so the next morning we went to church and then went berry picking! It was a lot of fun, but it was hard to save them and not eat them.
Then we decided to just get in the car and drive. We do this a lot, especially on “vacations”. Jake always like to show me his spots, or places that he thinks are really pretty…so we drive (and catch up on the few weeks of life together that we missed)…and stop to take pictures and sightsee…and drive some more :)
“TEAM MARTIN!” *slap*
a small town called Bellows Falls…
Jake kept mentioning a place with lots of Volkswagens that he had wanted to show me. I drive a jetta (when it’s not dead), and we’ve always talked about fixing up an old VW bus or beetle, just to have for fun….and jake found his dream bus. HA!
He loves the orange one (pictured below on the right) and I have to say that the interior was in great condition. Much better than I expected! One day, babe, One day :)
Vermont, Part 2…coming soon.
