So I’m very proud and happy to say that today is Jake and I’s 3 year anniversary! One day I’ll post about the entire day when I have time to really write it all out, but nonetheless here are a few pictures to share…
These are just a few of the many (all taken by Jason Angelini Photography) pictures that we have. This was honestly one of the best days of my life, and I completely enjoyed every minute of it.

As promised, I'll tell you a little bit about our recent trip to Gainesville, Georgia. At the end of February,Jake and I attended ONE Marriage Conference that' we’ve made an annual doing. We went last year to see what it was all about and loved it, so we decided to go back and loved it even more this year. I highly recommend it to any couples, engaged or married, even if you aren’t Christians as we are. We both know that marriage can be tough, so we are ready to learn more and prepare ourselves for what’s to come and what God would have us to be in our marriage. We are all for bettering ourselves and our lives together! Ed Young and his wife Lisa spoke, and they were funny and charming and I got a lot out of what they shared. Marriage is so much deeper than weddings and vows. It takes strength and patience, and is an amazing covenant shared between two people. I love being married to my husband, and wouldn’t change it for the world :)
However,I am sorry to say that I didn’t take any pictures of the actual conference…except from my phone. Shame on me. It was beautiful though and I’m already excited about next year!
but enough mush. While we were there we took advantage of the time away and spent a lot of it driving around, going to our usual stores that Florida doesn’t offer us and we did a lot of photo excursions, you know, the BEST kind of excursions. :P
One of the good things about Duluth is that there is a large Asian population (& culture) there, thus giving us bubble tea cafes everywhere! Jacob and I have been boba addicts for about two years now (definitely no denial here), and going to Duluth just gives us an excuse to splurge. Granted, we have a few favorite cafe’s back home, but nothing like in good ole Duluth. :) Needless to say, you’ll see a lot of boba pictures, Ha! Anyways…here is the documentation of our little mini road trip:
So we found this really really old rundown historical house and decided to go play in it. Let me clarify and say that rundown was an understatement. They whole house had practically fallen down with random remnants here and there. It was fuuuuun.

On the way home, the weather was perfect, and by perfect I meant absolutely beautiful. So we stopped to take some pictures of these horses on the side of the road and they came right up to us! [yea, never experienced that before] They let us pet them and take pictures of them, perfect models I must say, lol. I was amazed and giddy about it the whole ride home. They were gorgeous horses and I was on cloud 9.

The end!
I actually took a ton of pictures for a class project, which again, I’ll tell you more about as the time comes. But for now, you’re just gonna have to hold onto your computer chairs for a while. :) We also got the chance to visit with our cousins and have our first Trader Joe’s experience. There aren’t any TJ’s in Florida, so it was quite the treat.
oh and funny story! Last year when we went, it snowed in Atlanta, and it was my first experience with a snow storm. I loved it, mainly because I don’t live in severely cold weather conditions, so for me it was so fun and entertaining! This year, so far has been a really cold winter for Florida so I figured maybe this year it would snow again! I brought my boots and lots of socks and scarves and was totally prepared. I prayed the entire time we were there but nothing. Not even a hint of precipitation. Well the day after we left, it snowed. WHAT?! I guess it just wasn’t meant to be for us to see snow, maybe God knew that our little car couldn’t handle it!
It was a great and much needed mini vacation for the both of us, it’s always nice to experience different locations and get the chance to just relax. Nonetheless, there you have it, in a nutshell.
