jehovah jirah, my provider.

First off, God is amazing.

Second off, we had a yard sale today and it went alright. Not as well as I'd hoped because we still have a bunch of junk. However, next week we are supposed to be joining in with Jake's sister in a seperate neighborhood. It's advertised way more efficiently than ours was so hopefully we will be able to get rid of some more stufff! yippy.

My hub and I went to Supertarget today and of course my eyes caught the gentle glimmer of christmas lights and the smell of artificial christmas trees and chemical pine, lets not forget all of the amazing decorations that I wait all year for! Admit it, you fall for it too ha! I love this time of year, and the wonderful weather that the Lord has blessed us with!! All that being said, Jake and I have decided we are goign to do a rustic theme for our first holiday season being celebrated together. We've picked up a few ornaments, like a camera because we love to take pictures and some skis for jake because he's pretty much awesome, I also saw some ballet shoes that I want. It's fun to think of the traditions that we are starting to develop not only for ourselves, but for our future children. I'm ecstatic. I wish that I could decorate for Christmas now! We have all these awesome ideas for our gift wrapping and stuff. We're using paper bags instead of wrapping paper, and burlap string and wraffia instead of ribbon, ahhh. can you tell I'm excited?! Here, I'll give you some pictures so you can be excited too, ok?...

well, I'm kinda hungry so I'm going to raid the fridge. and think of some more wonderful ideas for the upcoming months of jolly cheer. he he =].

He knows what He's doing.

What I've learned the past few months...

The Lord puts people in your life for a reason. Sometimes it's to show you what your doing wrong and sometimes its to teach you a lesson other times its to give you encouragement. Even if you are only close for a season. It's hard to let go of people that you thought you were close to or thought you COULD GET close to in the future...but I've got to do what I've got to do. Hopefully for the short time we were influenced by each other, maybe I've shown them some light, or made them want to gain a closer relationship with God. I can only hope. Either way, whoever reads this please pray for me, and help me to make the right decisions and for emotional strength as well.

ill be back lata...
